Last weekend we crossed the bridge and I took this picture while I was being driven. It just captured my attention, in fact it always has. Free Leonard signs are like part of my childhood, like a symbol of my life. The image also captured me because it was on a tree, off to the side of a bridge, therefore very high off of the ground. It made me wonder how it got up there. I also felt that there was something very organic about the human made sign being held up by a tree, as though the tree him/herself is making the plea for Leonard.
Anyway, about Leonard Peltier, in case you wanted to know.
Yesterday I worked all day to get TheWeeBitThings shop opened on Etsy.com. I didn’t realize how many opportunities there are to personalise and write content! So abundant were those opportunities that I was not able to open up shop just yet. I worked away on creating my profile and writing the new About page for shops.
I have a tendency to freeze up and get blocked whenever I have to write something about my self and share something personal. In part, this blog is meant for me to share more of myself than I ever have before, so I don’t think I’m going to be able to avoid it. I’m learning that the creativity is meant to be shared and expressed.
There are only a few things left to do (at least for now). I have to set up the store policies and then list away. I have some photos ready to be listed but there are always more pictures to take.
By 8 pm I was pooped. ‘Da Honey came home tired, too. After dinner we sat down to enjoy some X Files with our two little four leggeds and all of us crashed on the couch!
Life’s but a dream! Row your boats, y’all!
p.s. images to come soon.
The very first post ever! [on weebitthings.]
