Oh my gosh! Project completed!
I worked on this simple blue beaded necklace for what felt like longer than it should have taken. It was because I was missing some necessary supplies, so I had to wait until my order came in.
First, I worked with what I had, and I thought it was complete. But as it lay on the studio table, hanging out for display, it struck me that it wasn’t done. Shoot.
I thought it was done and just needed to be photographed, but it was as if the necklace had been crying out to me and I finally heard it. No. Not done. It needed a second review.
On the second review, it needed to be restrung plus needed other supplies that I didn’t have. I had to wait for them. But now it’s all done and that’s why I feel like, ‘Finally, project completed!’
It’s a YAY! moment.
I call this piece “Larkn”.
The beads are gemstone — crazy lace agate. The bali spacer beads are sterling silver. The pendant is mother of pearl.
I feel like this one is a beach inspired necklace and much like the ocean (which I truly love), it also has a healing quality to it. In fact, crazy lace agate has metaphysical healing properties. It’s balancing and protecting. It balances the emotional, physical, and mental energies for better clarification, specifically better decision making. With better clarity there is always better focus.
Well, here’s what it could look like on. I think it hangs about 17.5 inches. Besides having metaphysical healing properties, it also has a natural vibe to it and will look sweet with different attire. Sometimes this style is referred to as Sundance style.
‘Larkn’ is currently available on my shop.
